The Environment: An active, 400-foot deep limestone quarry. The raw, jagged rock faces provided a naturally brutalist amphitheater that reflected both the sound and the intense laser arrays.
Key Visual Anchors:
- The Drone Choreography: We deployed a fleet of custom-built FPV (First Person View) drones to dive down the quarry walls and weave through the laser grid, providing impossible, kinetic perspectives.
- The Scale Markers: To emphasize the size of the environment and the sound system, we strategically placed heavy mining equipment in the deep background, illuminated only by intermittent strobe hits.
Technical Execution: Managing exposure in an environment lit almost entirely by lasers required custom color science pipelines. We utilized Arri Alexa Minis rigged to heavy-lift drones, capturing in ArriRAW to ensure no data was lost in the aggressive highlight clipping of the laser strikes.
